What’s the different?

Massage is generally a hands-on approach to reducing tissue tension and improving joint mobility. We have plenty of tools in our massage bag from deep tissue sports massage to myofascial treatments and trigger point therapies, just to name a few.

The term “tissue mobilization” is usually reserved for instrument/tool assisted massage approaches. This could include cupping or a traditional Chinese medicine approach known as Gua Sha. You may have heard this technique commonly referred to as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

Body tempering is one of our most powerful and unique treatment tools. This approach is found in top fitness scenarios all over the world.
